It is really hard to believe, but today marks exactly one month since my hip replacement, and I am so close to being back to normal. I'm doing everything for Bob, this week I found I could even bend down enough to actually wash his feet and legs. Last week, I found I could step over the bathtub in the guest bathroom to take a shower in there, this week, I found I can sit down on the regular toilet in the guest bathroom, and not have to use Bob's handicapped toilet.
All these are small things, but for a person like me, they are major accomplishments. Now I just have to get my eating back on track.
