Life takes on a different meaning when you become motivated, set goals, and charge after them in an unstoppable manner. Les Brown.
Good Morning Sister W.W.F.F.,
A couple of weeks ago Edi mentioned a cooling product that she uses and she was kind enough to send me the link so today I am posting the link so if anyone want to go check it out
www.polar-products.com, thanks ever so much Edi for sharing.
Life does take on a whole different meaning when we become motivated, to get down to business, track what we are eating, watching each week for the scale number to go down, and we are so focused. No way are we going to come in from a long day and just grab the first thing that we find to fill that hungry void we have. We have planned snacks, we made preparations to have the ingredients ready for our meals. We would spend hours in the grocery store reading labels, even getting out our pocket calculator to make sure the food was points friendly.
Then comes that week that either we didn't lose, or we may have even had a small gain, and look out, we stomp our feet while shaking our fists to the heavens, and cursing that little metal box, cause we KNOW WE DID EVERYTHING RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then we are told, ''it could just be your body", ''maybe you ate too much salt this week", "maybe you didn't eat enough (this one always cracks me up)". So then we are having to deal with a slow down, maybe even a plateau, but trust me sometimes when we have used the word ''plateau'' it was due too the consumption of too many Twinkies, and not a real plateau.
Next thing you know we stop reading the labels, we don't go back and refer to our many books that we have been given out, we forget to ''think''. Then the next thing is we begin missing meetings, we are not as careful at parties, we fall into that trap of , ''well, guess I am always going to be this way".
No, we don't have to ''always be this way". Go back into your mind, and remember what got you into those doors this time. Remember the feeling of how great it felt to each week come in knowing you have done the very best job you know how to do when it comes to your health and weight loss journey. Know that each and every day you have a Sister Weight Watcher here that has your back. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER ALLOW ANYTHING OR ANYONE try and steal that feeling from you. No one said this was going to be easy, but what have any of us ever done worth while that was easy. Yes, we are all going to stumble and fall from time to time, we are all going to have those times we never want to count another point or read another label, but because we are a strong, supportive group of ladies, we will continue on, we will be successful.
Stay Strong, Finish Stronger,
Much Love to all,
Joan
